Welcome to the “Humans of remote work”

This is a series of illustrations from 2020, by Chithkala BR. Through these pictures we told the story of several remote working technologists, their individual work situations and the value they got out of remote work in the early days of the global pandemic. The production team included my colleagues Michelle, Nag, Rakhee, Savita, Shifa, Shivani, Smitha, Vasudha and yours truly. This page aims to give our collective work, a permanent home on the web.

I hope that you notice how diverse remote workers can be. As a result I expect this could spark conversations that help us reimagine the future of work.
